Andy Warhol

In March, we celebrate the life that was Andy Warhol’s; one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and the leading figure of the 1950s Pop Art movement. His brilliance in merging fine art medium like drawing and photography with highly commercial mass produced subjects like Coca Cola and Campbell Soup. His aesthetic is quirky and unique. By that measure, we have created a menu inspired by his most iconic pieces, Campbell’s, Coca Cola, Velvet Underground Banana, Flowers, celebrating his quirkiness via our 4 course menu. Of note is the dessert of Banana 5 ways which Andy Warhol created the banana sticker for the band Velvet Underground & Nico’s debut album. The original banana sticker has the sexually charged effect of a nude coloured banana when the sticker was peeled back. Andy Warhol changed the world of art with his many innovative artistic endeavours. The immersive dining experience will be accompanied by a Warhol-esque soundtrack including The Velvet Underground and Patti Smith and decor inspired by the notorious Silver Factory, . We celebrate and remember this icon with an evening of merry making which we hope he would approve of.
